Step 1: Hold the end of the necklace with the small safety clasp in one hand and the other end with the clasp opening in the other. Make sure the necklace isn't twisted and the chain is straight.

Step 2: Align the tongue with the clasp opening and slide it in until you hear a click, ensuring the safety arms sit securely on either side.

Step 3: The necklace is now securely closed, with the safety arms clicked in place on both sides.

Step 4: To open, press the circular button to release the tongue, then gently pull the ends apart.
